I went to Globe Hub in Glorietta to have them receive my letter informing them that I would be recinding my contract with them since for the more than 40 days now they still can't resolve the problem I have been experiencing. They requested to give them a week more to make some actions on how to remedy the situation that I am in. Being a loyal subscriber of Globe for almost 5 years now, I told them that I would be giving them the week they are asking for but not a day more to resolve my problem.
I wanted to run a speed test tonight but like what I have been experiencing for more than a month now I can't make a connection and instead get the error message: "A connection to the remote computer could not be established so the port used this connection was closed." I researched this error prompt in Google and I found out that this error occurs when there are too many request to the server and there is congestion within that network.
I really don't want to burn bridges so to speak but if this situation persist this coming week then I am left with no recourse but to recind the contract that I have with Globe Telecoms. I would also be informing companies that I work for as technical consultant/web designer to steer clear of Globe internet services for now until they are able to resolve their network congestion problem.
